General

What exactly does BHPAY do?

We are a Hong Kong-based supply partner for home and fashion products. You tell us what you want to sell — with drawings, reference products or just an idea — and we handle everything from matching the right factory, through sampling, production monitoring and inspection, to shipping the finished goods to your warehouse. You keep one point of contact; we coordinate the entire chain.

Do you work with small businesses and first-time importers?

Yes. A large share of our clients are boutique brands, Amazon and Shopify sellers and independent retailers placing their first container — or even their first pallet. We scale our involvement to your order size and explain every step in plain language, so you always know what happens next and why.

Which product categories do you cover?

We focus on two verticals: Home & Living (furniture, bed and bath textiles, kitchenware, lighting, storage and decor) and Apparel & Fashion (knitwear, woven garments, denim, outerwear, activewear, kidswear and accessories). Focusing on two verticals is deliberate — it lets our team keep deep, current knowledge of the factories, materials and cost structures in those industries.

Can you develop products from my own designs or tech pack?

Absolutely. OEM and ODM development is core to our work. Send us a tech pack, a sketch, a physical reference sample or a mood board, and we will translate it into factory-ready specifications, manage pattern and sample revisions, and protect your designs with NNDA agreements where required.

Ordering & MOQ

What is your typical MOQ?

It varies by product: roughly 200–500 pieces per colour for apparel and 300–1,000 pieces or sets for home goods. For first orders we often negotiate trial quantities below standard MOQ by combining your order with compatible production runs, and we always state the real MOQ in writing before you commit.

How long does sampling take?

Standard samples typically take 7–15 days depending on complexity; developed samples with new patterns or moulds take 15–25 days. We courier samples directly to you with tracking, and every revision round is documented with photos and measurement sheets before the next one starts.

How do I get a quotation?

Send us your requirements through the contact form or by email: product description or photos, target specifications, estimated quantity and destination country. You will receive an indicative quotation within two business days, and a firm quotation after sample confirmation.

Can I mix different products in one container?

Yes — consolidated loading is one of our strengths. We plan the loading mix across factories, coordinate delivery windows to the consolidation warehouse and produce a loading plan that maximises space while keeping cartons accessible for inspection. Many clients launch with three to six SKUs in a single LCL or FCL shipment.

Quality Control

How do you control quality during production?

In three layers: factory vetting before any order (audit reports and reference checks), inline inspection at critical stages during production, and a statistical pre-shipment inspection to AQL 2.5 against your signed golden sample. You receive dated photo reports at every layer.

What happens if goods arrive defective?

First we establish the facts together: you share photos and counts, we compare them with the pre-shipment inspection report and production records. Confirmed defects above the agreed threshold trigger the claim process — rework, replacement or compensation — which we run with the factory or insurer on your behalf.

Are your factories audited?

Every factory in our active network has been visited by our team and holds a current audit summary covering production capability, quality systems and social compliance. For clients who require it, we also arrange third-party audits (BSCI, Sedex, ISO) before order confirmation.

Shipping & Customs

Which shipping methods do you arrange?

Sea freight (FCL and LCL), air freight and international express, plus rail for selected European routes. We compare live rates for your cargo and deadline, and on DDP terms we also handle import clearance and last-mile delivery to your address.

How long does door-to-door delivery take?

As a planning guide: sea freight to North America and Europe is typically 30–45 days port to port, air freight 5–10 days, express 3–7 days. Add production lead time (usually 25–45 days) and we will build you a realistic end-to-end timeline before you place the order — and track against it weekly.

Who handles customs clearance?

We do. On the export side we prepare and file all Chinese customs documentation. On the import side, under DDP terms we arrange clearance and duties at destination through our partner brokers; under DAP or FOB terms we hand your broker a complete, clean document set so clearance is routine.

Payment

What payment terms do you offer?

The standard structure is a 30% deposit with order confirmation and 70% balance against the passed pre-shipment inspection, before goods leave the factory. Payments run by T/T to our Hong Kong corporate account; for larger orders we also support L/C at sight. You never pay the balance before inspection passes.
